Technology of CNC production of aluminium alloy part
Novotný, Michal ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis Technology of CNC production of aluminium alloy part is based on the particular specification of the company FP cz s.r.o. The core of the work lies in the proposal of production technology of the given part made from aluminium alloy which is machined by two universal CNC lathes with operating system FANUC. There is an introduction to the issue of characteristics and machinability of aluminium and its alloys because of coherence of the thesis. Practical part is focusing on the particular proposal of production technology which consists of the casting analysis, method of clamping on the chosen machines, choice of tools and verification of the production. There can be achieved effective production and significant time reduction with proposed technology.
The Study of Economics of Tooling Technology
Ondrášek, Dušan ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis addresses issues related to obtaining methodology for the production manager´s decision-making process in the field of technology selection, suitable tooling and cutting tools selection for a specific order or particular production plan. Evaluation of the manufacturing process while taking into consideration complexion of process controlling and contexture to the economy of this process. Analysis and evaluation of technological and economical aspects of a manufacturing process of the CNC chip machining in a real environment is targeted on the field of tooling, its selection, purchase, economy and consumption. The process controlling of technology is based on this analysis as well as the formulation of measuring by economic indicators such as economy, productivity, profitability etc. The analysis of important factors and parameters of this process demonstrated an influence on economy of the company. Several model cases have been created from the company records and from the provided research, the output of which became a basic methodology. The output of the analysis indicates possible directions of a management decision making. Thanks to a complex technical-economic view this thesis can serve as a methodological instrument for decision makers in the field of technology and cutting tool selections as well as an economy of production process improvement.
Technology of CNC production of aluminium alloys parts
Věrný, Luděk ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is elaborated on the specific assignment of AB Komponenty Ltd. The core of this thesis features the technology of manufacturing of component BASE CROSSBAR of aluminium alloy EN AW 2017 on the vertical machining center. CNC control program for the suggested technology is developed in the CAM software PowerMill 2010th. To complete the work it also includes a brief introduction to the issues and analysis of aluminum, aluminum alloys and coatings. From the perspective of the practice is probably the most beneficial and interesting final technical economic evaluation of selected solution of the given problem. The suggested technology can be a significant saving in production costs.
A new production technology of a rotational part
Sychra, Jiří ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on a new production technology of a rotational part. The SolidWorks software was used for create the component design. According to the proposed models, CNC program using parametric programming using mathematical functions was created in the CNC Syntax Editor Free Edition program. The final step was the experimental verification of the functionality and components compared with other type and the economical evaluation of manufactured components.
Technology of aluminum alloy part production
Kostka, Dominik ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to focus on the casting and machining of aluminium alloy parts. Aluminium alloy castings can be cast by all the technologies available today, but only metal mould casting is the most suitable for aluminium alloys due to the rapid cooling process. The machinability of an aluminium alloy casting can be highly productive but carries the problem of build-up on the tool. The build-up can be avoided by changing the technology, choosing a different cutting material, or cutting conditions. Machining an aluminium alloy casting is more productive and less costly due to the small machining charge and the use of a more powerful machine. When machining apart from a semi-finished round bar, we need to use more machines, more process operations, and this will increase the overall production time of the batch. From a technical and economic point of view, the production costs for a semi-finished product from a casting are one third lower than for a semi-finished product from a cross-section.

Návrh nábytkového prvku pro děti vhodného pro CNC výrobu
Kubátová, Michaela
This thesis deals with theory and manufacturing of flatpack furniture construction, especially about children's playing table, with using CNC technology. The main idea of children´s table design is easy assembly and disassembly without use of special tools, adhesives or additional fittings. The theoretical part describes the history and current state of table furniture for preschool children, flatpack furniture, furniture joints and CNC technology. The practical part presents the creation of a children's playing table design, prototyping description, suggestions to improve the product and the overall assessment of the benefit for practice.

Design of wooden building kit
Vinopalová, Pavla ; Bomba, Jan (advisor) ; Pánek, Miloš (referee)
This thesis describes the design of wooden building kit on the principle of gears. Summarizes the problems of calculations and graphic design for gears, work with computer software, and then the laser and the CNC device. Presents the pros and cons of making such building kits in both machining methods and draws conclusions about their suitability and economy. Provides overall production process, from market research (which similar building kits are usually trade in Czech republic nowadays), the numerical and graphic design, to verifying the functionality of the prototype. The thesis is based on scientific literature that addresses the issue of gears, tooling, surface finish of wood etc. It must also take into account the Czech legislation and standards concerning toys.
